Roundline Stainless Steel Body Cylinders (inch)
Bimba originated the unitized, non-repairable style of this
cylinder, which has become an industry standard. Our "Original Line"
cylinders have earned a reputation as hardworking, long-lasting
performers. We have the broadest product line available, with more bore
sizes, mounting styles and options than any other company. And, we
continually add new variations such as the PC Cylinder with plastic end
caps, and the Non-Rotating Original Line cylinder with its unique
square piston rod.

304 stainless steel body, double-rolled end caps, sintered bronze rod
bushing, Buna N "U" cup seals and our specially formulated HT-99
lubricant.

cylinder/flow control/fitting combination -- up to 1-1/2" less.

NEW Small Bore Position Sensing Cylinder
- These magnetic position sensing cylinders are available in 5/16" and 7/16" bore sizes.
- Can be used with Bimba's sinking and sourcing switches and miniature reed switch.
- Feature a low profile track on the cylinder body, a 40% profile height reduction compared to traditional track styles.
- Variety of stroke lengths, including many standard stroke lengths is offered
PC Cylinders
- Our Original Line corrosion-resistant cylinder for applications and
environments that require exposure to moisture, lubricants and certain
solvents.
- 304 stainless steel body, 303 stainless steel rod, acetal resin end caps and stainless steel accessories.
- 3 mounting styles and a wide variety of catalog options.
- Bore sizes: 9/16", 3/4", 1-1/16", 1-1/2", 2".
- We use an anodized aluminum alloy piston that makes our PC Cylinder
stronger than plastic end cap cylinders with plastic pistons.
NEW PC Cylinder with Cushions
- Kinetic energy absorbing adjustable cushions are available for
Bimba's PC Cylinder, stainless steel body cylinder with acetal resin
end caps.
- Offered in four bore sizes: ¾" to 2".
- Choose from nose, universal or double end rod mounting styles.
- Other options include bumpers, rod wipers, fluoroelastomer seals
for compatability with certain chemicals and a magnetic piston for
position sensing.
Non-Rotating Cylinders (square rods)
- Our Original Line non-rotating cylinder for applications requiring precise guided movement.
- We use a unique square piston rod with rounded corners that
prevents rotation better than other rod configurations, offering a
rotation tolerance of 2-1/2° or less.
- Special high-strength aluminum alloy rod guide offers high load
carrying capability and abrasion resistance. A urethane-based rod seal
provides excellent seal life and leak-free service.
- 2 model types, 4 mounting styles and a wide variety of catalog options.
- Bore sizes: 9/16", 3/4", 1-1/16", 1-1/2", 2".
NEW Multi-Position Original Line Cylinder
- Space-saving stainless steel body air cylinder provides three positions in a single unit.
- Available in five bore sizes ranging from 9/16" to 2" with a variety of stroke lengths.
- Standard options include high temperature, low temperature and
non-lube elastomer, non-lube grease, front and rear port positioning,
rod wiper, extra rod extensions and magnetic position sensing with Hall
Effect or Reed switches.
MRS Cylinders
- Designed to operate Bimba position sensing switches to actuate
programmable controllers, relays, solenoids, timers or any other
electrically operated equipment.
- Accommodates both band- and track-style switches.
- 4 mounting styles and a wide variety of catalog options.

- MRS cylinders are typically larger with larger mounting threads and
rods. These larger features can be beneficial in tougher applications.

- For extremely harsh applications.

500 Hydraulic Cylinders
- For applications that require hydraulics at pressures up to 500psi.
